Gravesend Chess Club meets every Tuesday night (7.45pm) at The Waterloo Tavern 55 Welington Street, Gravesend. DA12 1JQ. We currently have twenty members of different ages and playing abilities who actively compete in local and county competitions. We have six teams competing in the Metropolitan Kent League. All matches start at 7.45pm.
Chess Development
If you are interested in learning to play chess, or if you understand the basics and want to develop your game to become a better player, come along to our club night which starts at 7.45pm and we will help you to improve.
If you desire, and when you are ready we will introduce you to the world of competitive over the board chess and you will be able to play for Gravesend against other clubs.
